Our Team
A combined 30 + years of development and real estate experience
Lauren has spent the last 12 years working in various real estate investment roles at J.P. Morgan, The Georgetown Company, Enterprise Community Investments, and Getaway, one of the country’s preeminent outdoor hospitality brands. She has extensive experience across asset classes including mixed-use, residential, retail and recreation/campgrounds and has been involved in the financing /acquisition/management of over $13 billion in assets. She has specialized in sourcing, evaluating, structuring and negotiating multifamily acquisitions across private equity funds. She is recognized as a skilled, creative, results-oriented investor and real estate specialist.
LAUREN BYRNE
NICO TUREK
Nico has been involved in the real estate and finance industry for over a decade, focusing specifically on commercial appraisal, private equity investments, permitting, entitlements, acquisitions and development. He worked within Getaway’s development arm for 5+ years, most recently as Director of Acquisitions with the primary responsibility of overseeing the growth and management of the real estate pipeline. Since then he went on to form Rhinestone Cowboy Consulting, a dynamic firm specializing in comprehensive advisory and consulting services for the hospitality industry and beyond. Nico’s meticulous research skills and track record in acquisitions, development, market analysis, and strategic planning has positioned him as a trusted advisor in this space.
SAMUEL MORTON
For the past eight years, Samuel has been intimately involved in the development of the outdoor hospitality space. For five of those years Samuel led planning and construction efforts at Getaway, which quickly became an industry leader in campground development. In early 2021, in search of a new challenge, Samuel founded SomaBuild to assist developers with similar concepts in the burgeoning outdoor hospitality space. Since its inception, SomaBuild has managed over $100mm in development across the country. Sam is known for his meticulous organization, and proven track record for keeping projects planned and built on-time and on-budget.
